"Look, Miss Rose. I am not a loyal worker. All I want is to get a job, work, and earn money. Nothing more, nothing less," Olga said firmly. "Jon has abused me, so I naturally want to find a new boss to work with."
"I like that mindset. Because you’re here to work professionally, and I don’t need to be emotionally involved with my worker," Madeline said.
This was a complete lie because she was usually emotionally involved with others, just like how she got so close with Ada that she saw Ada as a friend rather than a driver.
But she didn’t want Olga to know this. She knew this type of person wasn’t worthy of her affection. It was better to make everything transactional between them.
Madeline took a small box under the table and gave it to Olga. "These are all the taping devices and hidden cameras I’ve prepared, so be sure not to put them in an obvious spot."
"You don’t need to worry about that, Miss. I’ve worked on reality shows like Summer Heat Lovers. I helped them with all the taping devices and hidden cameras," Olga replied proudly.
Madeline’s lips twitched.
She had a bad memory about that damned reality show because she found so many taping devices in her room with Jasmin.
She knew it was the norm, but she hated the idea of being taken advantage of.
