Chapter 191
"I don’t think you can do that anymore, big bro," Lance said.
"Why not? Those shareholders want me to take over this dying company. You are the reason this company is in this state; you’re incompetent, Lancelot Grant. I can turn Empress Entertainment into a giant with all our family connections."
"As I said, I don’t think you can do that anymore," Lance grinned mischievously. He pressed the intercom from his desk, and Deborah walked into the CEO’s office carrying a document.
The middle-aged secretary handed the document to Theodore and said, "Please open this, Sir. It’s all the agreements and contracts verified for the past week."
Theodore frowned.
Lance’s confidence gave Theodore a bad feeling as if Lance had orchestrated everything, including his own downfall. Theodore looked at the document in his hand and opened it.
Theodore did a quick skim of the document, and his body stiffened. He looked at Lance with disbelief but remained silent as he read through the document again.
Angel got anxious because Theodore was making an expression as if he had been caught off guard. So she asked, "What is it? What’s wrong, Theo?"
Theodore handed the document to Angel for her to read. He stared at his little brother silently before asking, "Did you plan everything this far?"
"Me? This idiot Lancelot Grant can plan so far ahead?" Lance said sarcastically. "Come on, we both know I’m not competent enough to do so."
