Days went peacefully after Madeline moved out of her old house to live with Lance.
Zane didn’t show up anymore after their confrontation at the production set.
As promised, Lance didn’t do anything to Zane, but he hired two more bodyguards who would constantly follow Madeline around in a different car.
It felt uncomfortable at first, but Madeline got used to it, eventually.
Director Wang gave her a free day to rest and understand her role as Renata Glass again, and after a day of rest, she absolutely crushed all of her scenes. She completed all but one final scene, where Harry and Jillian would kill her to cover up Harry’s sin.

Harry and Jillian tied Renata up after spiking her drink to make her lose consciousness.
Harry wiped the sweat on his forehead, still unsure if this was the right thing to do. "Are you sure we need to do this? She is the daughter of my most important shareholder. What if he found out that his daughter had been killed?"
"As long as there’s no trace of us around her body, then we should be fine," Jillian said coldly while looking at the unconscious Renata. "You’re not the only one she slept with. If her father reported her missing or killed, they would probably focus on her ex-boyfriends rather than a fling like you."
Harry was slightly offended by his wife calling him a mere fling for Renata Glass. It was obvious that Renata was in love with him.
Nevertheless, this wasn’t the right time to argue with Jillian. He had to get rid of this bitch, so he could get some peace of mind.
Harry put Renata inside the trunk while he drove her car to a cliff with Jillian sitting beside him.
