Chapter 94
Madeline dried herself with a towel, then used a hairdryer, and finally wrapped herself in another towel from the hotel.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t find a bathrobe in sight, probably stuffed somewhere. So, the extra towel was her only savior.
She looked at herself in the mirror, and her cheeks reddened because the bathrobe barely covered her body.
She had to sacrifice the upper part in order to cover her butt, making her boobs almost spill out at the top.
Even so, the towel could only cover her butt. It almost looked like a tight minidress for Madeline. The only difference was that she didn’t wear any underwear under it.
’Oh, whatever, I’ll change into my pajamas quickly,’ Madeline told herself. ’Lance is not in the bedroom anyway.’
Thus, Madeline opened the bathroom door, and her heart jumped when she saw Lance sitting on the sofa near the bed. He had taken off his shirt and unbuckled his belt.
He closed his eyes—possibly sleeping—while holding a bottle of Bourbon upside down, with all its contents spilling out on the carpet.
Madeline peered at him suspiciously. She tiptoed out of the bedroom and opened the door leading to the suite’s living room.
She saw another empty bottle of Bourbon on the table.
’He must’ve been drinking a lot,’ Madeline thought. ’Why would he drink so much anyway? Isn’t it better to just ignore me and move on?’
On top of that, Madeline was surprised that he’d drink here. She thought he would leave the suite when Madeline slammed the bedroom door shut.
