Meanwhile, on the other side of the room, Zane was sitting on the throne, looking at Jasmin and Bertha, who stood before him.
Jasmin looked relaxed, but Bertha tried to resume her meek acting despite showing it all in front of the camera from the previous game.
"I remember you had a mental breakdown because Madeline made the puzzles ten times harder in that Monkey Forest," Zane mentioned. "Are you feeling better now?"
Normally, Bertha would act sweet in front of a handsome man like Zane, hoping to gain his sympathy.
Besides, she had been admiring him ever since she was young.
She clearly remembered how that handsome ten-year-old boy stood in front of all the theater and choir kids as the producer of a musical drama brought him in.
The producer introduced him as Zane, who’d play the younger version of the male lead in the musical drama, and he needed a pair.
Ten-year-old Bertha fell in love instantly with Zane, and she was naturally the best out of everyone in the choir.
Unfortunately, Bertha’s chance to play in that musical drama was gone the moment Madeline stepped in and started singing.
