Madeline glanced at Zane and gently touched his thigh, alerting the man instantly.
Zane turned his head at her and asked with a forced smile, "Yes, babe?"
"You look... pissed," Madeline commented. "Are you sure you want to be here?"
"Well..." Zane looked around first to check if there were any cameras around. The staff told them they were allowed to spend the night without the cameras, but only an idiot would believe them.
After ensuring no cameras were in sight, Zane put his hand on Madeline’s and said, "If I can choose, I’d rather be in that honeymoon bungalow with you."
"Even if we’re there, you know I can’t give you what you want, right?"
"Doesn’t matter." Zane’s smile gradually softened, and he leaned to whisper in Madeline’s ear, "I just want to spend time alone with you, without anyone’s watchful eyes. Oh, also the jacuzzi. I love the jacuzzi. I want to have it again with you."
