"I will fly to Bali in a week, and I expect my girlfriend to be completely safe from that bastard Zane," Lance said firmly. "Remember, there’ll be consequences if you don’t do what I say. I’ve compromised with you enough, cousin."
"Wow, so much pressure..." Valerie gulped. "But what do you think actually happened in the honeymoon bungalow last night? Did they do it or not?"
"I will ask Maddy about it myself, but even if she did fuck that bastard..." Lance’s gaze turned cold and hostile. Luckily, nobody was around him right now, or else they might tremble in fear of facing Lance’s wrath. "I will make sure that’s the last time she will ever see a man other than me."

"Okay, I am in trouble," Valerie told herself. She rarely felt nervous, and Lance was her closest cousin.
Yet, even she didn’t want to face Lance’s anger because he was the scariest when he got angry.
"Why do I have to get caught in this lovers’ crossfire? I just want to branch out and try producing a reality show." Valerie blamed her misfortune.
But she realized she should’ve known better.
Obviously, that green-eyed viper, Lancelot Grant, wouldn’t help her without any trouble. He always put her in difficult situations when she thought everything would be just fine.
She was squeezing her brain juice, trying to find a way out of this sticky situation, and once she found the solution, she quickly called the Director, instructing him on what to do.
