Chapter 382: A Proposal with Passionate Love
Leander kissed her. Her words were like a soothing salve for him. He could see the care she had for him in those pretty black eyes. She was worried about his feelings and looked like she would take on the entire world for his sake.
What more would a man want from his woman?
"I think my father tried to overcompensate my mother who raised me as a girl. That was why he pushed the gun in my hand early and brought me with him to every fight. I’ve forgiven him too."
Leander said brushing aside her hair. He didn’t want her to have negative feelings about his father. He didn’t. Honestly, he didn’t care much about his past anymore. There wasn’t anything there that he would like to remember about the family he had in the past.
She is the only one he wanted to remember. She was the one best thing that happened to him. He didn’t want to waste his time and energy thinking about those who weren’t important. He didn’t want her to waste her time feeling bad for his past too.
"Shall we go?" he asked folding the letter.
Her clothes were still wet and he didn’t want her to catch a cold. He decided to leave so that she could get changed.
Viviana looked at him.
"What?" he asked. He could see that she was expecting something from him but he didn’t know what she was expecting from him.
Was it his jacket for her cold?
He threw his jacket back there. "Are you cold?" he asked.
"You’re such a dumb man, Leo," she said with a little smirk patting his trouser pocket. "There is something left, isn’t there?" she asked.
