Chapter 373: A Bloodbath
They went home after the party. Lionel was happy with the reactions and he was rounded up by many. Leander too caught the attention of many. People tried to chat her up, but Viviana hid with Gabriella in the powder room.
She needed to know everything.
Gabriella didn’t say much, but she was blooming.
"He told me that he was going to stand by me no matter what. I am going to give him a chance, Melanie. I am going to give myself a chance," she said. The rest of her thoughts she kept in her heart.
Viviana didn’t force her to speak. Gabriella must have been thinking about her future a lot and if she finds to keep her thoughts in her heart, then that was fine too.
In the end, Nellie’s insistence paid off. But he took the right path, in her opinion. He didn’t stalk her or force her to accept him. He gave her the space to think about it, and while at it, he made sure he could make her happy. He has become powerful enough to make people scared of badmouthing him and his family; he became independent from his family and paved his own path.
Gabriella didn’t stay wallowing in self-pity either. She was conspired against and pushed into a life detrimental to her future. She got a way out and somehow still didn’t lose Lionel’s love. Although unsure of accepting his love, she got out of her past life entirely and paved a new path for her while healing. Now she has her own identity and people know her as a designer.
The petty ones who bring up her past purposely to hurt her can be dealt with in the future. So, ignoring others, Gabriella should give herself a chance to be loved.
Viviana wanted everyone to be loved the way she was loved. It’s a good thing. Everyone should have good things in their life.
"You’re smiling," Leander said on their way home.
"I’m happy," she leaned on his shoulder. "Did you notice? Nellie was happy; Gabby was happy too. Both of them were double happy. Gabby supported Nellie all this time from behind the scenes, and today, Nellie showed her to the world with her by her side. I hope they are both happy for the rest of their lives."
"You want them to get married," Leander smiled. She didn’t say it but he could see her dreaming of their wedding already.
