Chapter 327: Persistence
"Signora, I cannot..."
Luca stopped Viviana from getting inside the car.
"Martha, get in the car," Viviana walked past Luca.
"Please, Signora...Capo asked you to stay in the house today. You’re in danger. You shouldn’t leave, please...." Luca covered the handle of the door.
"Careful, Luca. You might hurt the baby. Move," Viviana stared at Luca as she stepped closer. She hugged the baby closer to her chest. "I want to buy some stuff for my daughter. That’s why I want to go to the city."
Luca gulped as he didn’t know how to stop her. He didn’t have the courage to even touch her hair. She’s Leander Kastello’s wife. No one can touch her even under his order.
Luca’s eyes brightened as he finally found a way. He pulled out his phone to dial Steve.
Viviana, with no hesitation, plucked the phone from his hand. Luca tried to grab it back but stopped when she stuffed his phone in her purse. He sighed loudly. "Signora..."
"Will you drive me, Luca?" Viviana raised her brows. "If you’re not, I can hire a cab. But who knows who will be the driver? He could be an undercover cop, or a member of the Palatini family or some other assassin hired to hurt me..." She shrugged.
Luca groaned in pain holding his stomach. He was in physical pain as his panic rose. He looked around to get help.
Martha gently held Viviana’s hand. "Signora, maybe we should...It’s capo’s order."
Viviana scoffed.
