Chapter 169: Checking Out
But when the door opened and when Viviana saw the person entering the house, her smile froze. She didn’t know what to do.
Martha who was standing behind her nudged her with her shoulders as she bowed. "Welcome, Signora Kastello."
Mary who was stunned as Viviana was, bowed her head too.
Viviana gathered herself from her shock. She was not expecting Leander’s mother to visit here. Judging by the reactions of everyone, she figured that everyone was surprised too.
Katerina came running from the laundry room.
"Welcome~"
"Who are you all to welcome ME to MY son’s house?" Viola shouted. "I heard that my son lets his servants sit on his head and I can see it! You people seriously need a beating just like they would do in those days." Viola shouted not even looking at Viviana.
Viviana pressed her lips and stood with her hands clasped together as if she was standing in front of the principal after getting caught for misconduct. That was her first reaction. She’s used to feeling fear whenever someone raises their voice.
"I apologize, Signora Kastello," Katerina stepped forward. "I should be blamed. I’ve been slacking from teaching them properly."
Viola walked to Katerina. Viviana looked at her with her eyes wide, anxious about what might happen.
*Slap*
Viola slapped Katerina so hard in the cheek that Katerina almost fell over. Viviana’s heart skipped a beat. The fear in her heart vanished the moment she saw tears on Katerina’s face.
