Entwined With the Villainous Guardian

Chapter 116: Gone Wrong

She’s such a hypocrite. What she speaks rarely matches what she does. She made him believe that she does not want him as much as he wants her, but her eyes tell a different story; a story that matches his heart.

He liked this side of her. And this side of her invoked another side of him; a side he never knew existed in him.

"Where are you looking?" he asked marching forward toward her.

Viviana was stunned. The towel around his waist loosened as he walked. She knew it would fall down in...One, two...

It fell down.

She didn’t know where her rationality ended at. It surely was not working. Her sense of propriety—gone! Having free sight to the part that was never accessible to her, she shamelessly stared.

It looks different from that night. And...flappy. Is it because he’s not "excited" today? Whoa! So a lot changes when he gets excited, huh?

"At least pretend to look at my face, Mousy..."

The deep voice startled her. She immediately retreated to the door, as her sense returned driving away her improper curiosity. She might lose to her desires and stare at him, but he is someone who hurt her. She wanted to draw a clear line and here she is the one being so shameless. She cannot appear weak in front of him right now when she is negotiating.

You are your worst enemy, Melanie! You’re stupid!

With a grunt and a lunge, he got her wrist. With a twist and a pull, she freed her wrist and dashed to the door. Once she’s out of the door, she’d be safe—that’s what she thought.

What is he going to do? Run behind her waving his flappy thing for all to see? Heh! He won’t be that brazen even if this is his home.
