"I’m sorry."
"No. It is my fault. I am the one who should be sorry to have brought them up and also killed them."
He kissed her on top of her head and pulled her face to his chest. He rested his chin on top of her head and patted her skin lightly.
"I know that no matter what I do, nothing would change that fact and you still see me as a monster. I am amazed you could ever forgive me. And I do not want to do anything to jeopardize that, ever. You mean too much to me."
Era drew in her nostrils and smiled calmly. "It is okay. Let’s not talk about it please." As much as she wanted to swell on it, she knew better than to let it happen, lest she hated him and pushed him away.
"Thank you for forgiving me."
"Welcome." He pulled back and pecked her on the lips. "More," she demanded charmingly. "Kiss me more, husband."
Vidor’s felt his heart become full of joy. Never in his life would he believe this day would ever come. And no matter how many times she acted cute and shy, he still found it disbelieving she was his and the very same Era he married.
"You never cease to amaze me," he complimented her. With smiles etched on his face, he pressed his lips against hers again and kissed her more deeply than before.
