She knew saying that she had sealed her fate with him and given him the notion that she wanted him.
What was more, ít was her silently urging him to carry on with his chase, and even if later she got angry at him again and wanted to leave him, it would do her nô good because Vidor would chase her.
Ignoring the consequences of her words, she anticipated his fierce kisses again because right now her mind, body, and soul all wanted him.
Perhaps later she can recollect her words and actions but for now, she was going to let her heart lead and bask in the pleasurable moments
Smiling down at her, Vidor thanked the stars in his mind that she gave him that go-ahead. It simply meant his words just now had gotten to her.
He could hardly believe it himself but yes it happened. She loved him. Her anger had been appeased. He had somehow managed to reach through to her and make her see reason from his perspective.
"I am sorry, Era," Vidor apologized again. If he could he would every day of his miserable life and plead her forgiveness even after she forgave him.
"What? You won’t kiss me?" Her eyes dropped. She looked so down from having been rejected by him.
Sensing what must be going through her mind, he used his hand to lift her chin so she could stare into his eyes.
