Chapter 32: An old friend
Since the students were used to being shielded in the academy, some of them still froze when faced with the actual terror, forgetting all they had learnt in fear.
However, their performance during the missions assigned to them, as well as their individual strength, was what determined whether they would join the official ranks of mages or knights.
’It still feels kind of strange...’ Liam thought, noticing numerous gazes drilling holes around his body.
Never before had he gotten this kind of attention, whether in his past or present life, so even though he acted normal, he had to admit it would take a while to fully get used to.
Nonetheless, his incubus side rather enjoyed it, especially the unhidden glances of desire given to him by the girls around.
Though the students were trying to focus on their instructor, Liam’s appearance was just too distracting for them.
Their shock grew even wider when they found out he was the same Liam who had always been in their class... the weak loser.
Kurt easily noticed this distraction, and his eyes narrowed into a slight frown.
He briefly glanced at the white haired boy standing across him, and the frown on his face deepened even further.
’It’s really him, but how come he looks so different?’ He thought, he himself wondering how someone could change so much within a few days.
He could still remember how much commotion he caused when he first entered, that the he himself had to interfere, bringing the decorum back.
