Chapter 18: Starting from Emma
There was a large hole on his shirt, which was caused by the blast, along with countless burn marks and tear.
However, except from that, the rest of his body were in perfect condition.
It didn't even look like he had just taken such a powerful blast at close range.
"Y-you're okay..." Emma mumbled, staring like she had just seen a ghost.
"Yeah." Liam said, flashing a warm smile at her.
"Stand back Emma, I'll finish in a bit." He said, before pulling off his burnt shirt, flinging it to the ground.
Emma gasped again in awe, her gaze feasting on the well packed muscles on his broad back.
'Has Liam's back... always been this huge?' She thought, stepping away from him.
'I wonder how it would feel to... touch it.' She mumbled inwardly, her cheeks turning red at the thought.
Meanwhile, Rex's face remained frozen in horror, unable to comprehend whatever just happened.
Wasn't Liam supposed to be the weak kid without a blessing... so how come he was still standing even after taking his attack?
