Rise of the Harem King

Chapter 100: She’s back

The students stepped cautiously into the grand main hall of the rift, their footsteps echoing through the vast and shadowy space. The place was enormous, lit only by natural crystals embedded in the walls, casting a pale and uneven glow.

It wasn’t their first time visiting that place, yet the absence of people made the environment feel much more threatening. It was hard to shake the feeling that something was wrong.

Then, as if to confirm the students’ fears, the sudden sound of clanking armor rang out around them.

Within seconds, a group of warriors emerged from the shadows, forming a perfect circle around them. Their matching armor, adorned with the golden emblem of Enki’s police force, gleamed under the dim light.

They held their weapons firmly, their posture rigid and disciplined, making it clear they were ready for any threat.

The students exchanged tense glances, feeling the pressure of the unexpected encounter. However, before they could decide whether to defend themselves or try to negotiate, Amanda stepped forward, revealing her face.

She was so anxious and concerned about the matter that she had decided to handle the students personally this time.

"Arrest them," the arrogant blonde said as she saw the students had made it that far. "I recommend you don’t try anything reckless."

Not only had the woman sealed the rift, but in a desperate move, she had also brought all loyal police forces of Enki to arrest the students.

After all, she knew that if they returned to Enki without her controlling the narrative, it would be her downfall. That’s why she had to act, no matter how desperate or foolish it seemed.

The students froze for a moment, feeling the weight of the threat before them. The air was thick with tension, and their hearts pounded as they watched the soldiers closing in.
