Chapter 95: Medical Treatment
"You really need to be less stubborn," Sophia complained as she helped Davi remove his shirt.
As the fabric slipped off, it revealed his well-built physique, marked, however, by fresh wounds and bruises. His body bore the clear aftermath of his battle against the monster, a fight from which he had yet to receive any healing. Deep gashes, dark bruises, and dried blood painted a picture of just how much he had endured.
Unfortunately, Davi had recently lost Ana as a member of his harem, which meant he no longer had access to her healing abilities. Without her powers, he had no way of mending his wounds quickly. Despite this, he had stubbornly acted as if nothing was wrong.
Thus, the moment their meeting ended, Davi had immediately set out to keep himself busy, moving around the camp, taking on tasks as if he were perfectly fine.
However, Sophia had sharp eyes and soon she noticed the slight tremble in his steps, the way his breath occasionally hitched in pain. But the final proof came when she caught him coughing up blood.
That was the last straw.
Without giving him a chance to protest, she had grabbed him by the wrist and practically dragged him into the tent where the meeting had taken place. Now, with her hands on her hips, she glared at him in frustration, as she analyzed his situation.
"You’re such an annoying man sometimes," She complained, as she started using his power to heal the boy.
Sophia first used <God’s Eyes> to discover all the wounds Davi had. And she soon discovered his body was a mess. Multiple muscles were problematically damaged, and his body had clearly been through a lot.
She also noticed he had been healed multiple times in the last few days. For that reason, she chose not to just bluntly use her healing abilities.
The problem with healing abilities was that sometimes the healing wasn’t perfect, especially with severe injuries. And these imperfections quickly accumulated when someone was healed multiple times in a short period.
