Chapter 59: Lost Temple Test
The ground shook, and five stone golems advanced to attack both Sylvia and Davi. The girl reacted quickly, moving closer to her master.
"What should we do?" she asked.
"For now, can you create a weapon for me?" Davi requested, taking another step back to evade the enemy’s attack.
"I can’t make anything too complex," Sylvia said, then created a sword and tossed it to Davi. Next, she formed two blades for herself.
She then charged at the enemies, but her attacks barely managed to deal any damage.
Because of this, she took a step back, trying to create some distance. However, at that moment, the core of the golem glowed, and it fired a bluish beam.
The attack itself wasn’t too powerful, but its speed made it nearly impossible to dodge. As a result, Sylvia was grazed by it.
Then, before she could catch her breath, another beam came her way. At the same time, a third golem fired a beam toward the girl.
There was no way she could dodge all those attacks at once. But suddenly, before the enemy could touch her, it was sliced in half by a <moon slash>.
At the same time, the bird Davi had summoned distracted two enemies. And the boy blocked the beam with his own hands.
He felt his skin burn, but thanks to the defense bonus from his <shield>, he managed to withstand it. Immediately after, he retaliated with a <Moon Slash>, destroying the golem in front of him.
