Chapter 46: Special Hunt
Davi followed Morrigan silently, and wherever they passed, people began to comment. However, neither of them seemed particularly concerned about it.
Upon arriving at the room, Morrigan opened the door and gestured for Davi to enter. He obeyed, closing the door behind him.
The woman sat behind the desk, crossed her arms, and then sighed deeply.
"I warned you that you had many enemies and that you should be careful. So why did you go there and cause so much chaos? Why did you announce to everyone that you’re forming a team? And why did you have to choose that name?"
Although she maintained a cold expression and didn’t speak in an overly angry tone, it was impossible to miss that she was stressed.
Amelia had asked her to ensure Davi’s safety, but it seemed like an increasingly impossible task. He had a unique way of attracting trouble.
"In my defense, half of it was out of my control. I didn’t expect them all to come to me." Davi explained.
Morrigan sighed. "I shouldn’t have told them where you were." She shook her head in regret, but quickly moved past that thought. "Alright, and what about the half that’s your fault?"
Faced with the woman’s irritated look, Davi could only look down and say softly, "I’m sorry, it was inevitable."
Then, with a confident smile he continued, explaining his ambitious and risky plan.
Upon hearing this, Morrigan could only feel her heart sink as she sighed once more. The boy was just like her master: reckless, determined, and a little crazy. Why did he have to choose such a risky path? She asked her self.
