Chapter 43: Plans for the future
The five of them sat at the table, as Lara and Ember decided to leave the gossip for later. Once again, the redhead took the initiative to start the conversation.
"I don’t think we should have someone in the harem that we can’t trust. So, who is this girl?" She stared at Luna with a certain hostility.
"She is my best friend and a very important woman to me," Davi replied in an irritated tone, making it clear that he would not accept any counterarguments. "I won’t expel her under any circumstances."
Once again, Ember was caught by surprise, but this time because of his refusal. She had been confident that Davi would accept any request from her to remove girls. Moreover, she regretted what she had said when she noticed how much it had irritated him.
Looking down like a guilty puppy, the redhead finally resigned herself and said,
"I’m sorry, I didn’t know. Welcome." She extended her hand to Luna.
Luna shily accepted the handshake. Then, when the redhead was not looking at her, she smiled softly, finding Ember’s quick mood changes cute.
"Okay, so does everyone here agree to share Davi?" Alexia took the lead.
Naturally, there was no disagreement. Maintaining control of the conversation, she mentioned that they needed to think about their next steps. Then, she turned to her master and asked:
"You’re going to form a team, right? What are your plans?"
"First, I need to reach rank D as soon as possible. I think I need to figure out a fast way to rank up."
