Chapter 22: Another girl to the harem
Unable to contain her joy, Ana smiled when Ember offered to go to the bathroom first. Then she turned to Davi with a seductive smile.
"She's a bit grumpy, isn't she?" she lightly criticized, but noticing Davi's negative reaction, she quickly changed her strategy. "But isn't it comforting to have someone so talented on our team?"
The girl kept chatting with Davi, and whenever she could, she bent down to pick something up, deliberately turning her back to him.
Then, pretending to be very embarrassed, she decided to say:
"Uh... actually, I wanted to ask you something," she said, leaning closer to the boy and once again angling her neckline toward his eyes.
Noticing that he seemed receptive to her approach, she climbed onto his bed, getting even closer. Then she spoke quite directly:
"A-Are you and Ember dating?"
Davi thought for a moment about what to say but ended up lying, "No."
"Really?" she responded, acting super excited. Then, hiding her 'embarrassment,' she spoke shyly, "I was sure a guy as amazing as you would be with a girl like her. Well, at least I'm certain she's head over heels for you."
It was obvious what she wanted, and the boy had no reason to waste time. So, taking the initiative, he leaned toward the girl and asked:
"And you," he got even closer, "do you think I'd have a chance with someone like you?"
