Rise of the Harem King

Chapter 5: Rank S

Davi barely understood what was happening as a blinding light enveloped him. When he could see again, he found himself in a spacious room filled with so many bookshelves and safes, that the room ended up seeming small.

Sunlight poured through a massive window on the back wall, flooding the room with a warm glow. In stark contrast to the room's otherwise timeless, classic aesthetic, a sleek, modern office chair sat behind the desk positioned before the window.

On the massive wooden desk sat a computer, two monitors, several coffee cups, two discarded books, and a chaotic pile of documents and papers. For a brief moment, Davi even spotted a fashion magazine on the desk. However, all the clutter vanished with a snap of fingers.

Thinking he might have imagined it, the boy now saw a pristine, elegant room before him. The space was adorned with beautiful paintings on the walls. At the center of the room was the grand, glamorous window, and a short distance away, a large wooden desk and a chair that resembled a throne.

On the desk, there was only his enrollment form and a beautifully bound book that appeared to be some kind of special grimoire. Likely a powerful magical item acquired by an explorer.

And then, as if out of nowhere, the principal appeared seated in what could only be described as her throne.

Her serene gaze held its usual weight, and, up close, she looked even more stunning. Her long, shiny black hair framed her face with a softness that contrasted with her commanding aura, cascading over her shoulders and following the natural contours of her body.

She was no longer wearing the formal suit from earlier. Instead, she donned a dark gray turtleneck sweater that accentuated her ample chest and flawless figure. It was impossible not to feel mesmerized by her presence.

"Your power is peculiar," she murmured to herself, her voice barely audible. "I imagine you must have some special title or another ability that allows you to have a second class, correct?"

"Y-yes," Davi stammered, unsure if he should keep it a secret or tell the truth.

Yet, under the weight of her inquisitive gaze, he instinctively choose honesty. It was a wise decision because, had he chosen to lie, his head might no longer be attached to his body.
