It took a few seconds for the three people to remain frozen before they suddenly realized what was happening. Shi Che had just been in a car accident; how could they let him go out alone to search for Young Madam? Without delay, Old Zhu got into another car from the house, took Xiao Zhao with him, and followed in pursuit.

There weren’t many places Ling Chuxia could go to. Over the past three years, she had led a secluded life, mostly shuttling between the old mansion and the villa. Ling Chuxia’s hand picked up her cellphone, unlocked it, and the screen lit up with many missed calls—all from Sister Hua. She stared at them blankly and then suddenly found it all somewhat amusing.
