Elara’s mother listened intently, her eyes narrowing as she processed the information. "I think I know someone who might be able to help us," she said, her voice thoughtful. "A woman named Lyra. She was a member of a secret society that worked to counter the Shadow Realm’s influence. If anyone knows what’s going on, it’s her."

Aria’s eyes lit up with interest. "That’s great," she said. "Do you know how we can contact her?"

Elara’s mother nodded. "I have a way to reach her, but it’s not going to be easy. We’ll need to go to the old city, and navigate through the Shadow Realm’s territory to get to her."

Lucias’s face set in a grim expression. "Sounds like a suicide mission," he said.

Elara’s mother smiled, a small, determined smile. "It’s not going to be easy," she said. "But I know we can do it. We just need to be careful."

The group fell silent, their faces set with determination. They knew that they were in for a tough fight, but they were ready.

As they walked, the landscape around them began to change. The trees grew taller and more twisted, their branches like skeletal fingers reaching up towards the sky. The air grew thick with an eerie, pulsing energy, and Elara could feel the Shadow Realm’s presence growing stronger.
