The group moved swiftly, their footsteps echoing off the corridors of the OceanaCorp facility. Kael led the way, his eyes scanning the area as he guided them towards the hidden exit. The tension was palpable, each member of the group wary of Kael’s true intentions.
As they turned a corner, Lucias suddenly stopped, his eyes narrowing. "Wait," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "I hear something."
The group froze, their ears straining to pick up the sound. And then, they heard it - the soft hum of drones, growing louder by the second.
Aria’s eyes locked onto Kael’s, a hint of accusation in her gaze. "You led them here," she accused, her voice low and deadly.
Kael shook his head, his eyes wide with denial. "No, I swear, I didn’t-"
The sound of the drones grew louder, and the group knew they had no time to waste. "Split up," Elara ordered, her voice firm. "Kyle, take Kael and get the data to safety. The rest of us will hold off the drones."
Kyle nodded, grabbing Kael’s arm and pulling him towards the exit. The others moved to take up defensive positions, their eyes locked onto the approaching drones.
Yua summoned the Kōshi, its massive body coiling around the group as it prepared to face the incoming attack. Layla focused her mind, using her telekinesis to rip the drones from the air. Elara and Lucias stood back-to-back, their swords at the ready.

As the fight raged on, Kael’s eyes locked onto Elara’s, a hint of gratitude in his gaze. "Thank you," he mouthed, his voice lost in the chaos.
