Chapter 311: Ocean Tongue

The group’s eyes narrowed as they turned to leave, but the ocean’s whispers grew louder, a warning of a new threat on the horizon. Elara’s eyes scanned the horizon, her brow furrowed in concentration.

"What is it?" Lucias asked, his voice low.

Elara’s gaze was fixed on the waves. "I’m not sure. The ocean’s trying to tell me something, but it’s... it’s fragmented."

Layla’s eyes were closed, her ears tuned to the ocean’s whispers. "I think it’s a warning. Something about the balance of the ocean."

Kyle’s eyes widened. "The ritual! We didn’t finish it. The Drowned God’s followers might still be out there, trying to bring him back."

The group’s eyes met, a silent understanding passing between them. They couldn’t let that happen.

"We need to find the ritual site’s center," Elara said, her voice firm. "And destroy whatever’s left of the Drowned God’s power."

The group nodded, their movements synchronized. They set off, following the ocean’s whispers, their powers at the ready.

As they walked, the air grew warmer, the scent of saltwater and seaweed filling their lungs. The group’s senses were on high alert, their eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of danger.

Suddenly, the waves parted, revealing a massive, ancient-looking ship, half-buried in the sand. The group’s eyes narrowed, their faces set with determination.

"What is that?" Yua asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Elara’s eyes were fixed on the ship. "I think it’s the key to stopping the Drowned God. Let’s go."
