Chapter 131: Rank E demons
Hearing snow’s voice for the first time in a while made Kyle happy, and relieved he didn’t loose her. But he wasn’t expecting the sudden bombshell, he was about receiving from his system.
"R-rank E demons?" Kyle stuttered in shock hearing those words. He didn’t know much about demons, except the few Lilith had told him. He’d just became a demon some weeks back, but he was levelling up fast and getting stronger thanks to his demon wife, and other members of his harem.
According to his demon’s wife words: "demons are classified into nine ranks.. from rank f being the lowest, and rank SSS being the highest." He’d only become a demon some weeks back, after he got the system with Lilith’s help. And he’d only just reached rank f demon, after undergoing various life-threatening tasks and missions, but these creatures were a rank above his?
[Kyle! Get out of there now!] Snow shouted in his head again, seeing he was still standing there. The panic in her tone made Kyle wary, as snow was only like this on certain special circumstances which were a danger to his life.
Not wanting to waste more time here Kyle turned back, running at full speed away from these ominous creatures. Not wanting to have anything to do with them. On instinct he abruptly stopped, feeling the hairs on his skin stand at attention.
’Bam!’
The next second a boulder besides him exploded into bits, small derbies of stones flying everywhere. Looking ahead, Kyle could see a necrolite in front blocking the exit.
"Leaving so soon already? We didn’t even get to know each other better." The creature known as void eater snarled with a malicious intent, irking Kyle’s stomach. Kyle could also see the remaining necrolites had now surrounded him, two by his side and the last behind him.
"You fucking useless timekeeper. You led and outsider into the inner gathering. Paying with your blood would be an easy way to repay your sins." Reaper coldly spoke, darting a murderous glare at the timekeeper by the left side.
"I apologize for my incompetence.. allow me to kill this traitor, before I offer myself as an offering for my sins." The timekeeper apologized, bowing his head down a bit.
"You’re not dying today timekeeper. infact, you did a good job luring him to us." The last necrolite behind Kyle spoke in a hoarse voice. Void eater and reaper frowned upon hearing his words, but they didn’t dare utter a word simply grunting in frustration.
