Chapter 108: Lover
After that brief exchange Kyle was then escorted to a room which was located on the 5th floor by one of the space guards. It was already getting late and he needed to rest so he happily agreed.
Your room peasant.. the male guard rudely said his face stained with disgust for Kyle.
What did you call me? Kyle smiled his aura leaking out as his eyes turned red. The guard was immediately engulfed in a trance his body shuddering.
I-i meant your room.. master. He refrased bowing his head in respect. A bit satisfied Kyle then ordered the guard away having no use for him now. His skill was still active on the guard as it would be handful to have a puppet in the guards.
Entering the room with the VIP golden card he was given it was ok to his taste. Not too luxurious just spacious with the essential items found in a room.
I missed you so much. Kyle muttered crashing to the bed with open arms. It had been quite a while since he’d enjoyed the soft comfort of a bed on his skin.
My body is still very weak. Kyle inwardly said stretching his arm a bit. His body had been in pain ever since he woke up from the coma as he wasn’t even safe with the slightest movement.
Snow why the hell were the system’s consequence for failing the quest so severe? 5 levels deduction.. what the hell! Kyle screamed unable to control his anger as his eyes was twitching slightly. Yes he expected the system’s punishment for failing the quest to be quite harsh. But he didn’t expect it to be too severe to lead to the reduction in his levels..
How the hell is that even possible.. Kyle felt like crying right now knowing he was five levels behind from reaching level 50. His evolution level. From the various novels he’d read whenever the mc failed to complete a quest by the system he or she was punished. It could either be reduction of stats or hp but never in his years of reading fantasy novels had he ever come across a novel where the system took 5 levels from it’s main character.
Snow are you there? Snow!! Hearing no answer Kyle frowned. It had been quite some while since he’d last heard from snow as the last time they talked he noticed she seemed off.
I wonder what’s up with her. She’s not been answering me lately. Kyle didn’t know what the matter was but he guessed it was the doing of the ethereal bright light in his consciousness claiming to be his system?
