Chapter 95: Mysterious figure
Back at the castle, the spectators had now been secured in a safe space on the palace floors. Even though they were now inside, they could still hear the explosion sounds from the arena as the castle would shake from time to time, every time a huge explosion occured.
"Commander! Everyone’s safely behind the castle walls, there haven’t been any casualties also." A guard reported, slightly bowing his head to ona.
"Good. As far as we’re in here we should be safe." She calmly said dismissing the guard. Turning, there was a hint of fear on her face as she wore a worried expression. She was confident in the castle walls withstanding huge damages, as they were made from a special material called glatherium.
It was found throughout the kingdom, as most of the kingdom were made with this material because of it’s durability, and it’s ability to withstand some levels of attack.
’He’s never used that sword before.’ Ona shuddered a bit, recalling the terrifying golden sword sheated around troy’s waist. She’d been commander of the palace guards for a while now, and during the battles they encountered they’d always been victorious because of troy. And not once, did she ever recall him using that sword before.
’Boom!’ The castle shook a bit from that explosion, slightly shifting them off balance. Ona’s eye widened, as she could see crack marks on a side of the castle wall.
’Don’t tell me.. no~ it can’t be.’ She didn’t want to accept it, but there were some small crack marks visible on the walls. It made her heart sink a bit, as this was the first time such had happened. The explosions were powerful, but it wasn’t above the capacity of the walls to withstand as she knew they could withstand 10× the force.
But these weren’t normal explosions from just anyone. No, they were explosions from the king himself.
’Just how strong is he?’ She didn’t know how powerful Troy was, but she didn’t dare ask. His aura alone was dominating, so she could only have a glimpse idea of how powerful he was. Looking round, she could see the different races gathered were sent into a state of panic, anger, and anxiety of what was to occur next.
Ever since the start of the 54th annual hunger game, she didn’t know why but she had a bad feeling about it. And with the sudden appearance of Kyle and falcon, just made things worse.
"Ona." A voice called out. Turning, she could see Lumia walking towards her with a frown on her face. As the princess and soon to be ruler Lumia was naturally prioritized first over all the other races, heavily guarded safely into the castle.
