Chapter 82: The hunger games(part 8): collision course
Absorbing the shadow ball from the shadow bat, Kyle could feel a new energy growing in him. He didn’t know what it meant but he didn’t care, as long as it would make him stronger.
’49 more..’ he silently thought sitting to the ground. He wasn’t sure how he’d get the remaining shadow balls, but at least he was a step closer. He was confident in himself he could kill the shadow bats one by one with his frozen katana, but he wouldn’t dare face on a group.
’She’s here again..’ looking front Kyle could see a hooded figure opposite the bars, as a guard opened the bars with the figure walking in.
"You never cease to surprise me." Lumia softly said pulling the hood back. "I thought you weren’t going to make it, but shockingly you had a plan."
"I didn’t do anything special they were the one’s that did the work, I just dealt the last blow." Kyle shook his head. If it wasn’t for his katana he wouldn’t have killed the shadow bat, and it was the archer and falcon that injured it enough for him to strike.
"True.. But that shadow bat had high resistance, and it was by far higher than three of you combined." She paused darting her eyes at Kyle.
"What are you trying to say?" Looking at her, Kyle guessed none of them including Lumia knew of the frozen katana, or he wouldn’t have found it. He concluded they didn’t know much about beast weapons or abilities, as most of their items here were technology based.
"I know that weapon you use is special, that’s why you always choose it. It’s a beast weapon isn’t it?" Lumia softly said to which Kyle nodded. He didn’t think she’d know about beast weapons, but maybe he underestimated her a little bit.
"I didn’t think you’d know about beast weapons since here is... advanced."
"I don’t know much say only an intro, but I know they’re very powerful." She said with a smile. She’d been researching anything she could find about beast weapons, but unfortunately Lumia kingdom only had little knowledge.
’He’s trying to hide something.’ For some reason, all the data stored on the research of beast weapons had been deleted across all the database. The only person that had access to do such, was none other than the king himself.
