Chapter 75: The hunger games(part 1)

"Father.." she bowed her head slightly, hugging him back. It didn’t come as a surprise to Kyle seeing her call him father, as soon as he entered Lumia kingdom he could feel it. Mana all around, he’d thought it was crazy but seeing the various things here powered with that strange blue rock, he came to a conclusion that was what they called a mana stone.

Back on earth he’d read about mana stones, they were usually small rocks which contained certain amounts of mana in them. Their coloured varied but it was usually blue like that of the oceans colour, this small stones were tremendously great and helpful, as most MC often relied on this treasure to breakthrough to the next stage.

’Their aura’s.. it isn’t like anything back in vaanderwood.’ He could sense large amounts of mana, protruding from their bodies. But what was strange to him was that the mana they excluded, was different from normal as it was clearly visible in the air.

"And who are these?" troy lumia’s father glanced behind her, staring at Kyle and falcon disguised as other aliens.

"I found them wandering outside the kingdom, so I captured them and brought them as gifts for you." Troy had a smile looking at them, he was inspecting them from head to toe. He then stopped after looking at them, contemplating on something a frown forming on his face.

"I already have enough peasants at my disposal, these ones aren’t worthy to stay here."

"B-but father! I specially selected them myself, they would make fine peasants for you." Lumia tried to persuade her father. She knew if she didn’t find them other guards would, and the consequences would be dire for them. But luckily she did, she was compassionate and had a kind heart so she wanted to help them, after hearing a bit of their stories.

"No. I’ve already decided, they should be executed immediately." Troy ordered with a cold face, he didn’t care a bit about their lives as they meant nothing to him. They were just peasants, and their purpose in life here was to serve if they were lucky. but if it was on a bad day, then he would have their heads cut off.

The guards in the room holding advanced space rifles, then advanced towards Kyle and falcon to apprehend them. Kyle knew he wasn’t any match for them as he was just outnumbered, even if falcon was conscious the situation would still be the same.

"Wait! Throw them into the dungeon, let them participate in the hunger games." Lumia shouted stopping her father in his tracks.

"And why would I do that? They haven’t earned the right to live." Troy casually said. he wasn’t gracious to give them such opportunity, to participate in such a breathtaking annual tournament.
