Chapter 69: Dreams
"Do you have a death wish boy? I’ll squash you before you can even think!" Kane angrily spoke dropping jober down, his attention now turned to Kyle.
"You don’t know anything about me." Kyle coldly glared into kane’s eye. he was in no condition to fight Kane, his demon energy was empty and his body was still healing. Elise wasn’t also fairing well, her mana had been drained out and she was suffering the effects, of overexerting herself too much. And sending Felix on the other hand, was just a sucide on it’s own.
’I’ll have to trust her.’ Kyle thought glancing at falcon. He had a weird thought in his head and he didn’t know if it would work at all, it was a risky bet Kyle was willing to take. If he was lucky and things went well they would have falcon on their side momentarily, but if it went sideways then they were dead for sure.
"You know I just remembered something.. I got a present for you." Kyle smirked and the next moment behind him, Elise illusion spell began to disappear revealing the 600 dead bodies of the villagers.
"W-what did you do?" Kane stuttered a bit, seeing the horrid looks on their disfigured bodies. He wasn’t expecting this scene at all, but he still stood his ground a mad smile brewing on his face.
"I just killed all your villagers, and turned your guards on you. Shouldn’t that prove how evil I am?" Kyle taunted fueling kane’s rage the more, he could see the latter couldn’t hold back his rage anymore and was about to react.
"You know, you’re so confident for a human." Falcon finally stepped in with a light smirk, interest in Kyle shining deep in her eyes. "You may have somehow managed to pull this off, and I’ll give you credit though for thoroughly planning this out."
"No. I just came up with the idea a while ago." Kyle smiled like an evil brilliant scientist.
"I-impossible!" falcon stuttered her eyes going wide.
’it couldn’t be..’ how could this young human not have properly planned his way, to conquer a village with over 600 inhabitants. Not to mention the dozen of two tailed fox guards, and herself with Kane a three tailed fox. Surely he’d to spend weeks or months to perfect everything, but he’d just said he had the idea a while ago.
"Don’t be too shocked. I know you think little of us humans, but the truth is we’re far more devious than you." There was a mix of doubt and excitement in falcon’s eye, staring at Kyle. She didn’t know how strong Kyle was yet, but his aura was definitely different than normal.
