Chapter 39: Refusing to Give Money
Let’s not talk about that now, at least we have some money, and the child’s life is saved.
After they paid, Qin Xiangyang was admitted to the hospital and had started receiving IV fluids.
Aunt Hua was still in a state of shock from the doctor’s words; had they been even a bit later, the child might not have survived.
Qin Xiangyang was now lying in the hospital bed, his complexion much better, the fever had subsided, and he was finally sleeping peacefully. Qin Xiangnuan tiptoed over and placed her hand on Qin Xiangyang’s forehead; it was, indeed, no longer burning hot.
Seeing this, Aunt Hua also heaved a sigh of relief; at last, it seemed everything was going to be okay.
"Aunt Hua, let’s go home and bring some things for brother," Qin Xiangnuan said to Aunt Hua. Moreover, it was already getting late, Uncle Hua and Aunt Hua had other things to take care of, and she couldn’t let them stay at the hospital with her and her brother.
"Alright, I’ll have your Uncle Hua take you back," Aunt Hua was anxious about things at home, but someone adult had to stay at the hospital now.
"Thank you, Aunt Hua."
Qin Xiangnuan didn’t say much else. She would return with the things, and then Aunt Hua could go back home. She owed Aunt Hua a great debt, which she would repay in the future.
Uncle Hua took Qin Xiangnuan back to the village on his tricycle. Qin Xiangnuan didn’t go to Chen Laosan’s house; instead, she went to the Qin Family home.
