"Mr. Hu Biao, what brings you here?"
"Hey, Qianqian said it’s your first day at work and was worried you’d be too nervous and in a hurry coming to the county, unable to eat properly. Just so happens my mom had Aunt Chang make some braised pork and a fried fish. Try it and see if it suits your taste."
Hu Biao handed over two warm lunchboxes to Shen Meng with a look that seemed to be asking for praise. In Li Qianqian’s eyes, Shen Meng was now more important than himself, and he was truly grateful to her from the bottom of his heart. If it weren’t for her visiting Qianqian and Bao Guo earlier, he couldn’t even imagine how his wife and child would have been bullied. And the things she brought for Qianqian and the child, especially that high-quality baby formula, were hard to come by even with money.
He estimated that without spending three to five hundred, it would be impossible to get those items. His entire family was deeply grateful to Shen Meng; after all, just sending a meal was nothing in comparison.
