At dusk, Mingyang and Mingliang had already heard from people in the village who saw their parents that they had returned from the hospital. Grandpa Guai had picked them up and probably knew about what they had done. The two hesitated and dared not go home.
Ming Fang, walking ahead, soon realized she was alone. She turned around and saw her two brothers standing not far behind her, their heads bowed. Seeing them like this made her feel stifled.
