Chapter 17: Go Home to Eat
Shen Meng went directly into the space after returning to her room, her head still hurting a lot. She found some medicine and brain-nourishing items to eat, and only then did she feel at ease.
She felt sticky all over from yesterday till now, thankfully Wang Guizhi had wiped her down, otherwise, she would have definitely smelled bad.
In the bathroom, she ran hot water and had a refreshingly thorough bath, scrubbing herself fiercely with the bath towel she bought specifically for this purpose. "Coming, Mom," Daqing placed the grass into the basket and called out to Lu Mingyang.
"Mingyang, why hasn't your granny called you guys back for meals? She didn't call yesterday and hasn't called today either, how could that old lady be so heartless? I saw Yong Qiang and Yong Li have all gone back."
Lu Mingyang continued working without even lifting his head.
"You hurry up and take Erqing home, your mom is waiting for you, we'll go home in a bit."
