Ye Tong had already figured out the gist of the situation from Zheng Cai’s several phone calls, and her face turned pale with anger.
She gritted her teeth and spat, "That bitch should have been locked up at home three days ago!"
Zheng Cai’s breathing quickened as she closed her eyes. She then realized why Ye Yuning hadn’t declined the call three days earlier. She had seen that there was no turning back from this marriage and had agreed superficially, fearing they would use tactics against her.But thinking of these now was already too late!
Seeing Zheng Cai too angry to speak, Ye Tong also felt a pain in her chest. "What do we do now?" she asked.
"Someone has already been sent to fetch her, and no matter what, the wedding must take place today!" Zheng Cai declared.

Just as the two were at their wits’ end, the door to the lounge was pushed open; it was Qin Xing from the Qin Family.
Seeing her, Zheng Cai quickly suppressed the fury on her face. In a second, her face bore a smile as she approached. "Miss Qin, are you tired? Would you like to rest here a moment? We’ll step out then; take your time to rest!"
