Chapter 25 - 025: It’s like doing it on purpose to tease
Afterward, Li Annan did not bring up the matters on the media again. The atmosphere at the dinner table seemed to return to normal, but Ning Guiwan felt a faint weariness in her heart.
After the meal, the two waited together for the elevator to go to the underground parking to get their car.
Li Annan looked at the girl beside him, whose features were as beautiful as a painting. He seemed to suddenly remember something, or perhaps mentioned casually, "My uncle’s family will be returning to the country in a few days. They’re settled in Canada, and we seldom meet. If you have time, have a meal with them."

Ning Guiwan simply smiled faintly. Li Annan had no parents, so his uncle was his closest elder relative. She understood what he meant. It’s just... she was too clear about what she wanted and what she did not want.
Just as she was about to politely refuse, the elevator suddenly DINGED, and then the door slowly opened.
Seeing Quan Yu inside, Ning Guiwan didn’t finish what she was going to say.
Quan Yu was on the phone. The moment he saw Ning Guiwan and Li Annan, the man’s gaze paused slightly.
He was dressed more casually today; his black shirt’s top two buttons were undone, the cuffs were carelessly rolled, and his left hand holding the phone wore a black business watch, exuding a mature and distinguished air.
"President Quan, President Qiao, what a coincidence running into you here," Li Annan greeted them.
