Cen Jin fell silent, watching Yu Feici rush toward the stairs with a speechless expression.
"Feici, do you need our help?" Lu Shishu took a sip of wine, put down the glass, and was about to stand up to ask.
"No, no, you guys keep eating, I’ll be right back. If I need help, I won’t hesitate to ask, so don’t worry about it." Yu Feici said while walking toward the stairs, turning her head back to them without a hint of embarrassment on her face.
Lu Shishu chuckled at her words, "Alright, we’ll wait for you to come back."

After Yu Feici went downstairs, Lu Shishu looked at Cen Jin, who had a puzzled expression, and asked with a smile, "You haven’t told Feici about you and Jiang Baizhou yet?"
Cen Jin shook her head, looking confused, "No!" After speaking, she felt something was wrong and added, "Actually, no, I haven’t had the chance, okay? She was out for an interview a few days ago, and just came back yesterday afternoon. Plus, Jiang Baizhou and I just started dating a few days ago, so I haven’t had time to tell her. I was planning to tell her today, but when I heard about this singles’ gathering tonight, I got a bit nervous."

"Sure, I’ll take a seedless watermelon, spitting out the seeds is a hassle. I don’t want plain sunflower seeds, no flavor. Five-spice is best, cream-flavored is too sweet, and caramel makes your hands dirty." Lu Shishu snapped her fingers, completely agreeing with her.
