Cen Jin raised her eyebrows with delight and said with a smile, "Then if Aunt Yu puts it that way, we really won’t be polite!"
"Alright, alright, don’t be shy. You’re all so busy, we hardly see you, only when Feici has a rare day off do you all come by. Come in quick, we’re launching a few new dishes at the restaurant these days, let you all try them first." Yu Feici’s aunt smiled and invited the two of them up to the second-floor open-air terrace.
"Thank you, Aunt Yu." Lu Shishu responded warmly, offering a gentle smile.
"Oh! You’re here, I was just wondering if I should call you later!" The moment the two walked up, they bumped into Yu Feici, who was planning to come downstairs. Her sleek hair and delicate face exuded a hint of elegance and vigor. Though not as stunning as a fairy, she was naturally beautiful. "Did you two come together, or did you meet downstairs?"
"We met downstairs." Cen Jin replied with a smile.
"Oh, alright, you both go sit down first! The dishes are ready. I’ll go down to get Shi Shu’s favorite wine and your favorite juice. If you’re hungry, just start eating, don’t wait for me, and don’t stand on ceremony." Yu Feici’s personality was much like her aunt’s, very straightforward, always saying what’s on her mind, and she treated Cen Jin and Lu Shishu with sincere kindness, never considering them outsiders.
"Alright."
However, Cen Jin and Lu Shishu didn’t stand on ceremony with her either. Not to mention how many years they’ve known each other, their bond was like an iron triangle, making formality unnecessary.
After the two sat down, they saw a few signature dishes of the restaurant on the table, along with two new ones they hadn’t seen before. Cen Jin and Lu Shishu didn’t really wait for Yu Feici; each scooped a bowl of rice from the small warmer next to them and started eating.
Cen Jin thought taking care of their hunger was the main thing, and missing out on new dishes wasn’t an option — they looked really appetizing.
