Cen Jin froze entirely, her pupils dilating slightly, feeling as if every speck of dust in the air had come to a standstill. Her heartbeat kept accelerating as he deepened this somewhat awkward kiss. Cen Jin chose to slowly close her eyes, accepting this kiss that confirmed their relationship, yet feeling inexplicably tense, her grip on his clothes growing tighter and tighter.
Feeling her grip, Jiang Baizhou’s large hand around her waist also tightened slightly.

"Ah, dinner?" After discussing some work-related matters with Yun Qi, the topic suddenly shifted, and she paused, asking: "Tonight?" Speaking, she instinctively turned to look at Jiang Baizhou, noticing he was staring at her with a sour expression.
