"Hmm." Jiang Baizhou responded lightly, casting a glance at her without a trace.
"Why did you suddenly think of buying a house? Are you planning to move out from next door?" Cen Jin looked at him in surprise, her bright and clear eyes full of confusion.
"For marriage." Jiang Baizhou pressed his lips together, squinting his long eyes, and tugged at his thin lips meaningfully.
Cen Jin’s steps suddenly halted at his words, and something deep inside her twisted painfully a few times, her face, which was originally bewildered and confused, became dazed.

She stepped forward, secretly adjusting her breath, wanting to pull out a smile, but it felt too forced, so she simply didn’t smile. Her tone was very calm: "You’re getting married? When?"
"It should be soon." Jiang Baizhou replied rather carelessly, a slight smile in his eyes.
"With whom?"
"With the one I love, naturally."
Cen Jin’s breathing instantly stopped, as if a sharp blade was slicing slowly across her heart. Pain, so intense she couldn’t breathe, more painful than ever, and she completely forgot to react.
As they locked eyes, a sales representative came over with three sets of keys, breaking the eerie silence: "Mr. Jiang, here are the keys to the three houses. Would you like to see them yourself, or do you need me to show you around?"
