Lu Shishu was taken aback for a moment, then suddenly laughed: "What’s it got to do with me? Don’t aim at me, being alone is just fine."
Cen Jin heard this, looked at her, moved her lips, hesitated to speak, then thought that after all these years, she had never mentioned that person’s name. She knew how hard it had been for her to come out of that shadow, so why bother to reopen her wound.
"By the way, I saw on the news a few days ago that you’re preparing an art auction. What’s up?" Cen Jin smiled wryly and clumsily changed the subject.
Lu Shishu nodded: "Yeah! It’s almost ready. I’m still communicating with the auction venue, and the pieces are pretty much finalized. It’s tentatively set for the 18th of next month. How about it, want to come?" After speaking, she raised an eyebrow at her and Jiang Baizhou.
"Sure! But, my studio has taken on a big project recently; I don’t know if I’ll have the time then."
"What about you?" Lu Shishu asked Jiang Baizhou.
"Not sure." Jiang Baizhou replied indifferently with three words, then immediately averted his gaze.
His clinic’s renovation work was also nearing completion and was about to open soon, so he would definitely become busy. Besides, there were already over twenty clients booked online, so he really couldn’t be sure about his schedule later.
"Alright then! We’ll see later. Let me know if you’re free." Lu Shishu understood the nature of their work and didn’t press further, simply agreeing.
