The Last King Of Darkness

Amidst the laughter, the warriors flooded like a tide, occupying Eagle Nest Mountain.

Rod also found an opportunity to return to the Dream Realm.

As soon as he stepped onto solid ground, the Book of the Future flew into his embrace, its scorching pages slapping frantically against his face.

Asa glanced disdainfully at the two books tangled in a ruckus and turned to walk away.

"So childish, these two broken books... But this is fine, without comparison, how could my great Asa’s existence in the Dream Realm be valued? How could my importance above theirs be demonstrated? Destiny? Hmph, even destiny has to relieve itself, relieving itself is destiny."

In the distance, a mannequin in meditation opened its eyes, a flash of golden light passed through its eyes.

The Book of the Future gobbled up this portion of Destiny Energy, infusing into its spirit at an unprecedented speed, the enormous golden crack growing even further, countless branches extending outward as if a golden tree sprouted and took root in its spiritual body.

"Hahahahahaha, I can feel it, destiny is flickering within my spiritual body! I have grasped the authority of destiny, I have touched it!"

Laughing wildly, an even stronger destiny aura surged forth from the Book of the Future.

At this moment, its power of destiny neared infinitely close to that when it was the Book of Destiny, and this was a power completely engraved in its spiritual body, not borrowed from the remnant power of the Ancient God of Destiny.

"Everything has returned. After all this time, the authority of destiny has finally returned to my embrace!"

"Now, let me show you its power."

The Book of the Future quickly flipped its pages, golden light flickered between the pages, its spirit vividly emerged, amidst the white aura, the shining Golden Tree of Destiny swayed, a powerful destiny aura radiating.

"Hmm, I see a black shadow approaching, I hear a deep bell tolling, crisis, Master, there is a crisis upon you."

Rod furrowed his brow, knowing that from a long-term perspective, he was always in crisis.

"Can you see what the crisis is?"

The Book of the Future pondered, "It seems to be some kind of attack, originating from a very high-level being. I can only see a vague shadow, incredibly ancient, incredibly mysterious, operating in the high planes of the Spirit Realm for millennia."

Almost instantly, Rod and the Book of Knowledge shouted simultaneously.

"Dream?"

Rod glanced at the Book of Knowledge, sensing unease from its soul: "Could it be the next Dream Invasion?"

The Book of Knowledge involuntarily flipped its pages, saying solemnly: "No, I’m not sure, there are too many crises facing the Dream Realm, it could be from the Shadow Evil World... No, we’ve lingered in the Shadow Veil for too long, we must leave quickly."

Under its manipulation, the Source Energy Propulsion Ring lit up, and the Dream Realm set off again, flying towards the outside of the Shadow Veil.

With the support of over 500 Source Energy, the Dream Realm traveled much faster than before, quickly flying out of the Shadow Veil.

Almost in the next instant, the entire Shadow Veil suddenly began to collapse, shadows compressing layer by layer, turning into an enormous void.

Rod was stunned by this strange change.

Through the Star Core, he looked into the void, only to see an incredibly deep, layered darkness beneath which a gaze also looked back at him.

In that moment, Rod felt a bone-chilling cold rise from the back of his neck, but in the next moment, that gaze vanished, as if it had been a hallucination.
