Chapter 48: First Lessen
Astra said nothing.
He was silent and calm, his eyes darting to Jung as if trying to peer into them.
Then he nodded with a wide grin and said, "It’s in good shape. Thanks for asking."
Not surprised by his response, Jung asked in a friendly tone, "Can I sit with you? I want us to make up."
His voice was loud enough for onlookers to hear.
Yet Leora didn’t back down. "Don’t you dare!"
Her anger was intense, and nothing could calm her down.
"It’s okay, sis," Astra said to his twin sister. "But there is no need to talk like that to our friend."
The fake, almost expressionless, and arrogant smile never left his face.
"Friend?!" Leora exclaimed and stood up.
"I told you to stay still!" Astra warned in a cold voice, making his sister tremble in agitation.
