Chapter 665: Side Story 2. Dance of Flame and Shadow - epilogue
Of all the scenarios Ron imagined, this wasn’t one of them. But this was everything he wanted.
The kiss was aggressive, deep, like a couple running out of time. As if the world would end tomorrow, there was longing and desperation in their movement; in their lips and tongue thay slotted together perfectly.
It was different from the curious and hesitant kiss they had during the New Year, of the tender kiss they shared during their first sex. It was as if the longing they had of each other for the past six years poured out all at once in the way they grabbed each other.
When the need for air parted them for the first time, they looked at each other; at the spark gradulally came back to a pair of dull eyes; at the tears started to glaze them. For a few seconds, they got lost in each other’s gaze, almost forgetting to take a breath. And when they got their breath again, they resumed their kiss as if nothing else mattered.
With each touch of their lips, those six years seemed to melt away. Ron grasped the dark hair that seemed to get redder with each kiss, gasping as he felt himself getting lifted, flanking the berserker’s waist with his legs. It was easier to kiss the older man like this, and Ron used the chance to touch the rough beard, feeling the thick neck, and finding his snubbed irritation again.
Ron paused and perted his lips, stopping the kiss. He gritted his teeth and gathered some strength in his hand before slamming it down the berserker’s shoulder.
"This is unfair!"
He kept slamming his hand there even though he knew he wouldn’t be able to hurt the berserker. That wasn’t his goal anyway. More than the physical pain, Ron wanted Agni’s heart to get hurt because of him.
"I should curse at you!" Ron hissed between his hits. "I should beat you up!"
"You can do that later," the berserker muttered in his neck, in his ears, and Ron’s hand stopped just like that. "Be it curses or beatings, I’ll take it all."
"Fuck--" Ron curled his fist on that broad shoulder, clinging into the scent of fire he missed so much. "It’s unfair because I can’t do that anymore, you jerk!"
