Cane and Iris settled in the alpha’s bedroom, while the babies were in the luna’s bedroom. Carla remembered this setting when the two of them had their first twins and knew that this was how the alpha and the luna wanted it.
Kaz and Maria had been forbidden from entering the pack house and they could only stare at the entourage along with the other pack member, while Carla, Grilla, Ezra and all the pack member, who lived in the pack house waited for them at the entrance of the house.
Ezra immediately approached Iris, excited to see the babies, so did Lil Thing, because the lazy bear couldn’t see the little ones during their journey, as the babies stayed inside the carriage all the time.
Cane helped Iris to get down of the carriage, while Hanna and Aliana held each of the babies, which made Ezra and Lil Thing pestered them.
"Welcome back, alpha, luna..." Carla greeted them, she was beaming to see their return. Especially when she saw Ethan, who was having yet another argumentation with Redmond and Lou.
After a long journey, all of them were in extreme need to take a rest, thus the festivity would be held later at night after they were fully rested.
Carla reported a few things to Cane about the pack house and the preparation for their coronation, which would be held in two weeks from now.
It was hasty, but within this time, Carla believed she would be able to pull something decent if they moved quick enough.
Cane had said that the coronation didn’t need too lavish, because it would hurt the people, who were still grieving, instead of that, he wanted it to be more intimate and all the people could enjoy it.
