Chapter 928: MANIPULATION AND THE TRUTH
"You are not Luna’s only protector." Zale reminded him of his status too. In this case, Zale and Lou were on the same level, which the merchant hated the most.
However, they failed to notice the strangeness of the situation.
Even when Iris went out of the carriage, Hanna and Amee, who stayed with her inside the carriage didn’t stop her from getting out, knowing how the situation could be dangerous for their pregnant luna and most importantly, they looked like they didn’t care at all.
Meanwhile, Iris’s five warriors didn’t stop her too, or at least came with her. They looked normal, like nothing was happening. As if, they didn’t see Iris.
No one sensed this oddity aside from Cedric. He was Inside the carriage with Abby, talking to her, but she didn’t respond. At first, Cedric didn’t think too much about it. He thought Abby was contemplating something, until he realized everyone outside of the carriage had this same monotonous expression, just like what Abby had right now.
"What happened here?" Cedric asked to no one in particular and tried to get Abby back to her senses but it didn’t work. From the window of his carriage, he watched luna Iris went into an abandoned house, followed by Lou and Zale.
From the look of it, they were the only people who were normal and had not yet realized what actually happening.
However, when Cedric was about to go out, he watched Rei entered the same house like Iris had stepped in with Lou and Zale.
Cedric halted for a while because he could sense Rei was up to no good.
