"Luna, if the alpha knew about this, they will have our head," Dean and pax pleaded with Iris to go back to her bedroom.
It was in the middle of the night and Cane had to go to discuss a few things with alpha Colter and Koda about their next move after they received news from the Riverside pack. In the letter, they also mentioned they had found Haco and he was in an intensive care from the healers there, which made Iris’s mood lit up, though she was still worried about the other, who had not yet been found.
"Don’t worry, I will be careful," Iris said, she hugged her body and tightened her cloak because the weather became very cold. "I only want to see the diamond tiger and after that I will go back to my bedroom."
"Luna, I don’t think this is a good idea. The boy is sleeping."
"Good!" Iris smiled at Dean, who looked like he was on the verge of tears. "I will only heal his wounds and then I will return," she said lightly.
And no matter how Dean and Pax coaxed Iris, the luna didn’t want to listen to them.
At this point, Iris managed to outsmart Cane and somehow, she was proud of herself for being able to do so. She knew Cane would be in the meeting this late night, so she pretended to be asleep, it was very convincing until he couldn’t tell and once he left, Iris went to the room next door, where the diamond white tiger stayed inside his cage.
Cane was very adamant to let Dean and Pax to tame the creature first before Iris could come closer to him, yet she didn’t think she would be able to see him in the near future if they used Cane’s method. This time, she did not agree with Cane and his prohibition came from the place, where he was overly worried about her.
Dean and Pax were right, the boy was currently sleeping, he curled himself into a ball inside his cage, but his limbs were chained.
"Luna, don’t come closer," Dean warned her again when Iris approached the cage.
"He is inside a cage and chained, also there are the two of you, what are you worrying about?" Iris frowned, she didn’t like this. She really wanted to order them to get rid of the cage and chain because it bothered her.
